Nestlé Waters North America and its family of Regional Spring Water brands believe corporate citizenship is more than just good business – it's a bond we share with the communities in which we live and serve.
In an effort to reduce waste and care for our environment, NWNA's Regional Spring Water brands have instituted programs that decrease the amount of raw materials used in the bottling process. For example we've reduced the plastic resin in PET bottles (the most easily recycled type of plastic) by as much as 25%, and decreased the amount of corrugated cardboard used in our packaging by 75%.
We actively work to do our part, and we ask that you do the same.
All of our bottles are recyclable, right down to the labels – but did you know that fewer than 25% of all plastic bottles are actually recycled? That is too low, and we are committed to working with partners to more than double plastic bottle recycling rates by 2018.
You can help by recycling at your next event. If you do not already have a plan in place for recycling, we ask that you take a few minutes of your time to coordinate collection of recyclable materials. To get you started, below are a just a few of the many resources you can use to help organize recycling for your event.
Information can be found by logging on to www.earth911.org/ or www.kab.org/ or by calling 1-800-CleanUp or your Local Department of Public Works for recycling locations in your area.
Let's work together to help protect our environment. Please recycle.
Thank you,
Nestlé Waters North America
